Is it possible to to use c# to change the screen brightness? I know some apps can control it so if there is not a direct way then does anyone know of a workaround? HELP ME ...

I don't believe Windows Phone has this API since Microsoft is worried about user experience. For example, if a user was on their phone at night and they had their brightness levels set to low and they entered a app that jacked up the brightness the user wouldn't like it right? There might be a undocumented API that OEMs could use but that would require some more digging around...

    Hope that helps!

Em, no. There are OEM APIs such as the sunlight readability from Nokia but those are trusted apps which you can't make.
