Oh Lordy... MS Edge needs an ad blocker before I go nuts

It's unusable. I hadn't realized how many ads I've been avoiding using other browsers equipped with AdBlock.

Hurry with that extension support!

I've heard two different stories on add-on support.

1. Soon after launch
2. October

I'm hoping for the former, as I am quite dependent upon LastPass.

I like Edge; I agree it needs an ad blocker and fast.

Microsoft has a winner with Edge; a PC I use I can replace the current browser with Edge; when an Ad blocker arrives.

I've read that soon after launch, we will be getting SR1, which will only bring bug fixes and we will be getting a bigger update in October which will include new features, like extension support for Edge.

The below link tells you how to block ads. Same concept as others have posted, but just a different host file to copy and paste from, I guess. I've done it and so far it seems to be working very well for me in Edge. :smile:
