Why does everything on Windows Central go to ads.pubmatic.com when using Edge?

I don't have any issues going to Windows Central with Chrome, but whenever I use Edge and go to Windows Central I am taken to a blank ads.pubmatic.com/AdServer/js/showad.js page.

I have no problem here in navigating to the Windows Central website in Edge. Just before updating to Creators I has having some issues where the page wouldn't load and would want to initiate a download but that was fully resolved after updating. Perhaps you have some kind of virus playing havoc with your browser?

Run a defender scan.
If defender doesn't report adware and quarantine anything then run Malwarebytes and see if it finds pubmatic pop ups.

Pubmatic is a browser redirect that tries to load an ad page pop up with your homepage.
I'm assuming you have pop-ups blocked with Edge.
If so you'll see a blank page on opening the browser.

Run CCleaner then reboot. Run CCleaner registry cleaner. Save a backup and then reboot. Then run Malwarebytes and if anything is found, follow the removal instructions and reboot. Also check your installed programs to see if anything weird installed itself. You will be fine.
