This offer is very tempting, but TigerVPN has this identical discount ALL over the web (which on the face of it, makes you question its quality/value). Their official site goes over the plans they sell directly, and none of them match either of the two on sale: Lite nor Full.

Does anybody have experience with TigerVPN and would recommend this deal? Drawbacks from going with this "lifetime" deal vs. whatever is offered directly through TigerVPN? Lastly, and excuse me if this is a very ignorant question, would this TigerVPN setup allow me to access network shares in my home from anywhere else if I'm connected to the VPN?

I do like the idea of the security a VPN can provide, wherever you connect...
