Beginning Friday 10/07/2016 Cricket is putting Lumia 650 on sale.

Note: Cricket branded phones are locked to Cricket and not even an AT&T SIM will work until unlocked. Requires 6 months continual service on Cricket to get an unlock code or 1 month on the $70 Unlimited plan...

Details: Online and In-Store availability. Some stores currently have a promotion where the Activation Fee ($25) is waived if you port your number to Cricket from any other service excluding AT&T (check your local store for availability of waived Activation Fee).

Microsoft Store regularly lists the Lumia 650 for $199.00
Cricket has recently been carrying the Lumia 650 for $129.99

Pricing
Free if you port your number to Cricket from any carrier other than AT&T. Some stores will waive the Activation Fee of $25 for porting in. I do not believe the website will waive Activation Fees.
$49.99 + $25 Activation Fee if you port your number in from AT&T or get a new phone number from Cricket.
$49.99 + $25 Upgrade Fee for existing Cricket Customers.

Looks similar to the 650. The 950 probably has better specs. Microsoft names their phones in increments of 100 to represent their newer phones in terms of design. (ie. Lumia 630, 640, 650)

really? your local cricket carries Mozo, thats impressive. I should have checked mine out before ordering online through Mobile Fun. It's been a full 3 weeks and i am still waiting for mine. And i got the same exact one, with gold. Now im really going to look like im copying iPhone. Already my phone has been made fun of as a "discount iphone" or "ghetto iphone" etc.

Got the Lumia 650 + Mozo Glam case + a Clear Coat screen protector... Ask at the Cricket store about that Clear Coat, it's cool stuff. Wet application and it is self healing. Lifetime warranty, too.

Pics soon. I'm busy updating everything and finishing my setup.

Tomorrow, Thursday November 3rd is the last day it is free with port in.

November 4 it goes $49.99 no matter what. New port in from anyone but AT&T still waives the $25 Activation Fee, AT&T ports pay the $25 Activation and Cricket customers pay $25 upgrade fee.

So $50 or $75, depending...

I bought one as my DD backup. I can't move away from WP completely so I got this as a backup and to keep up with the latest WP10 software. I've had it for about a month and it's surprisingly a good little phone. The 1 GB memory helps a great deal. It's onsale again this week for Black Friday.
