On my dev account, I can check "Hide app in Store" for each app I made.
If I check this option, the app is only available with a link.

I only used this feature when I launch a app, and I give the URL to some persons.

I'm more interested in why, but thanks for the links!

Maybe it is a pricing issue...as nexus said, it was a decision made by Gameloft...so maybe they are trying to make the game not "Free" anymore and don't want anyone else to download it. When you go to the game via the URL...what price does it show up as? [I can't tell as I already 'bought' it for free]

It's not possible to modify the price without to send a new release to Microsoft.
But you can "Hide app in Store" anytime.
