as far as i know, Windows Phone only supports the Unity game engine, from my time as a iPhone user, i know that it supports the Unreal Engine. So surely it would be a good idea for WP to support the Unreal Engine? aside from Gameloft & Halo: SA there are not that many graphically demanding games out there (as a general rule). In my view MS should be making a big push to support various game engines to help the ecosystem.
fair point or do you think otherwise?

Hmm. Of all the game engines out there, only DirectX is truly optimized for Windows Phone.

Heck, if you look at Halo:SA, you'll see an efficient engine behind it - and that's not even pushing boundaries yet!

However, it ought to be better if WP were to support the more efficient engines out there. Roughly half of all WP8 users right now are on 512MB devices.
