Asphault 8 multiplayer between phones dosn't work

I've been trying to play local WiFi between two phones and I can't see the rooms created. It doesn't matter which phone creates the room, neither can see them. Also, If I create a room with a Windows 8 laptop or tablet I can't see the room. The only local multiplayer I've gotten to work is to create a room on a single phone and play against Windows 8 laptop or tables. Is there some trick to getting phones(Icon & 928) to see rooms that are created?
