Why don't I have sound in GT Racing 2 and Modern Combat 5: Blackout?

No sound in GT Racing 2 and Modern Combat 5: Blackout

I have an HP ENVY dv6 running Windows 10.
Everything works fine, except for Modern Combat 5 and GT Racing 2.

In Modern Combat 5, the cutscene that appears when you first boot up the game works fine, but the rest of the game just simply doesn't have any sound. And GT Racing 2 simply doesnt have any sound. I have turne up the sound in game and elsewhere with no result.

I don't know if this is a problem related to Windows 10 or the game itself, because i didn't have these games installed before i upgraded to Windows 10.

If anyone can help me with this, then please do, because i actually want to play these games.

Same problem. No Sound at all when playing GT Racing 2 on Windows 10

I solved this by changing my default playback device. I had the Razer Surround sound as my default. Apparently this game has a problem with surround sound

I had same problem. I solved this by changing default audio format for speakers to 16 bit, 44100 Hz on Realtek hd audio manager.
The game doesn't play sound when format frequency is 48000 Hz.
