Hope my Tivo works with the new XBOX ONE !!

I'm hoping my TiVo will be controlled with the hdmi cable from the Xbox or ill be pretty upset..
I would than need to get a fios dvr because I want this to work exactly like the commercial with that hot chick from over seas..

Reviewers have said changing between games, TV, etc works as quickly as the demos. I also want this to work seamlessly however, IR-based controls have never been tolerable to use. The Xbox One will need to send IR signals to control the TiVo, so there's inevitably going to be lag.

A quick Bing search tells me that no current Tivo supports HDMI-CEC, so you'd have to rely on the IR blaster in the Xbox for it to work, so it may be a little slow, but from what I've read it should work.

XBOX One controls Tivo over the hdmi cable. You still need to do most things with the tivo remote however.

XB1 is controlling my Tivo Premiere over hdmi just fine.

How? I have a tivo hd series 3 and it wont work with my xbox one. I think it is lacking hdmi-cec.

Please help.

Which tivo do you have? How do you have tivo/xb1 set up?
