Kind of a silly test. I got 2300ms. Which is actually surprisingly slow considering the 8 core CPU, 8GB ram, and AMD graphics card. Windows phone with last year's dual core snapdragon gets 900ms. It must be a very stripped down/unoptimized version of IE

Benchmark not always accurate

Are you very familiar with this test? While not a perfect example, it is pretty realistic to javascript performance.

From my own experience, my tablet get around a 2300ms also and my phone gets 900ms. The difference is noticeable in real life applications. Granted, there are others things at play as well.

So whats your point OP?

I don't really have a point. I just thought it would be fun to try it. And I didn't see that information anywhere, so I figured I'd post it. That's all

edit: If anything, it just means there is a lot more potential in software and the browser has HUGE room for improvement over the next 6+ years of it's life :D
