Hi, my question is how long would it take to download Battlefield 4 over a basic 5mb connection?

I'd like to enjoy the benefits of a pure digital experience in the Xbox one bit unfortunately I'm not able to acquire a better internet service.

PS: Hoping Microsoft re-enables the Family Share features, they were amazing .___.

I would guess 6 hours or so to complete. But it would not take that long to download enough to start playing.

What is the game, a 30-GB DL or so? You say "mb," is that Mbps or MBps, just to make sure? If it's Mbps, then that is .625 MBps. That equates to .0006103515265 GBps. You'd have to wait 49,152 seconds, which is 819.2 minutes, which is 13.65 hours. That's is you get peak speeds throughout, which you won't, so I would guess more like 17-20 hours.

By the way, if you misspoke, and it's 5 MBps, then it's .0048828125 GBp/s. That's 6,144 seconds of waiting, which is 102.4 minutes, or 1.7 hours.

Bytes (B) vs. bits (b) is VERY important in these kinds of things, since you're changing it by a factor of 8.
