The latest update to the Windows Phone Xbox Smart Glass app

Evening ladies and gents! Just wondering if anybody else is having any performance issues with this app? The latest update seems to have broken something relating to the apps initial start and resuming time. I've noticed that the splash screen seems to linger longer than it used to as well. I may be imagining all this mind you (I'm hoping I'm not) so, yeah. Please tell me I'm not crazy
