Ok, so I'm currently interested in getting the Windows Mixed Reality headset (it helps both my desktop and laptop are MR Ready, even if neither are MR Ultra), and I'm aware of Windows MR getting SteamVR support. Now the reports I'm reading are that only MR Ultra PCs will be allowed to tap into SteamVR, but since I don't have one, would there be any way to get the MR headset to work a bit like RiftCat (which makes my android HTC One M8s a VR headset that connects to SteamVR)? I would use RiftCat but I have horrible yaw drift problems (I can be sat in one place and the central point will just rotate so I'd have to keep turning around to face "forward", which makes it impossible to use my HOTAS/wheel and pedal set in their current setup), so I'm hoping the MR headset would be able to tackle this. I do plan to upgrade my PC in time, but for now I'd love to get it working. Outside of the yaw drift the RiftCat was a lovely experience, even at 60fps.
