7"-8" dockable?

I'm seeing the 7?-8" Bay Trail tablets being announced and none of them seem to be dockable. I was really hoping to find a dockable device in this form factor to replace, my desktop computer. The Bay Trail will have all the performance I would need and being dockable provides the full desktop experience when I'll need it. Am I missing some devices that have docks?


Am I the only person looking for such a solution?

I don't think there are any dockable once, but if they have a HDMI you can plug that into your monitor and use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

I really was hoping for the same thing... Kinda disappointed as of right now... Hopefully something else will come out in the coming months.

ditto. Even if not docks, I'd settle for hdmi.

According the Lenove Miix 8 has micro hdmi out. I'm looking into getting an 8" tablet too, but it would be even better to be able to hook it up to a full size monitor if I ever wanted more screen real estate to get stuff done!

The Miix 2 (8") doesn't have HDMI out from what I've read. The Toshiba Encore and Acer W4 do.

According to this specs Buy Lenovo Miix 8-Inch Touchscreen Tablet (64 GB) - Microsoft Store , the Miix 2 8" does have hdmi out.
