I have the sidewinder x4 and x5 mouse and keyboard. I love them because they are a bit larger than other mice and keyboards and for my bigger hands I find them more comfortable. They are also really light, backlit, cheap, and WIRED. I'm going to post up my current rig later, but I'm planning on overhauling soon (planning on upgrading parts on it and recycling others into a server I'm building)

Figured I'd chip in and post mine. It's not the greatest but it isn't exactly slow and was originally built on a bit of a budget.

Motherboard: Asus M5A99X Evo
CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ 4GHz
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL8
GFX: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2GB
Sound Card: Asus Xonar DX
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB (Windows drive)
HDD1: Western Digital Black 2TB (Games drive)
HDD2: Samsung F3 1TB (Backups/Junk drive)
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 600W
Case: Coolermaster CM690 II Advanced
CPU Cooler: Akasa Freedom Tower
Monitor1: 27" LG IPS277L-BN <-- Low resolution of only 1920x1080 lets it down.
Monitor2: 22" LG L225WS

(Not sure why but the picture is upside down... oh well)

It's a pretty rapid system and plays all the current games well but I am considering a new GPU soon, tempted by an AMD R9 290. Would also like some more ram but the CPU cooler restricts me...

It's not quite ready yet (still waiting for my PSU and needs to be assembled from scratch since the parts are all still in the box^^) but since I'm not going to change anything I thought I just post the specs of my new build:

Updated Specs:
Mainboard: ASRock H87 Pro4 (Socket 1150)
CPU: Intel i3-4130 @ 3.4GHz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB OC Edition
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz CL9
PSU: SeaSonic S12II-620 (620W)
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120GB (for OS and maybe the most important programs)
HDD: 3.5TB - 2x Western Digital WD Caviar Blue 1TB, 64MB Cache; 1x Samsung HD154UI 1.5TB (from an ext. LaCie drive)
ext. HDD: 1x Western Digital My Book 500GB via USB 2.0
ODD: Samsung SE-506BB external Blu Ray Writer (white)
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 230T (orange with window)
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit Home Premium
Mouse/Keyboard: Roccat Kone [+] / Microsoft Sidewinder X6
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster P2250w (22", 16:10, max. Res. 1680x1050, no HDMI)
Speaker: Logitech Z4 2.1-channel

I may replace the monitor, mouse and keyboard this year as well as install up to 3 additional fans (maybe with a fan speed control panel but that's quite unsure).
I'll post pics as soon as I've assembled it (may take a few days as I'm still waiting for the PSU to arrive).

It's my first self-assembled desktop PC but I suck pretty bad at cable management^^

Edit:
Desktop set-up added:

Edit 2:
Did some cable management while I had the case open today.

Even if there is much room for improvement, I think it looks much better than before :)

My cable management is rather crappy as well. I just put it in a bit of a pile at the bottom, where it would be out of the way. I had spent, like, 5 or 7 hours between doing my PC and helping my cousin with his, so it was midnight and I was tired/lazy, and I left it like it was. Then I got plain lazy and didn't bother.

Well, I know I'm pretty new to the whole self-assembled-PC scene but wouldn't you get better ventilation and lower temperatures with cable management?

Theoretically, yes, but it wouldn't really do much to help me. My case has plenty of room and 5 fans, plus I don't do a whole lot on my PC right now (lot of schoolwork going on). My PC sits in the high-20s or low-30s in temps, so it's not like I'm doing any harm. The cable management isn't to where it's clogging things up or blocking fans, it's just not zip-tied and bundled. The cables all sit at the bottom of the case, near my extra HDD bays, where they're not in the way of anything.

Nice rig.
How is the big Seagate working for you? Since I'm going to get an extra int. HDD I'm torn between Seagate and WD (looking for an HDD that can handle a lot of heavy use (playing music/videos a few hours a day, like in a NAS). In the past there was a lot of complaints about fast dying Seagate HDDs (tough the performance has always been praised).

seagate one is good actually i was on tight budget so i had gone for seagate and service centre is also near my locality.
in WD you should go for the black one they are good for gaming but they will cost you more.

I already have a WD Blue 1TB in my PC for games and programs. I'm looking for an HDD for my videos/music that can handle usage compareable to a NAS system. Performance isn't that important to me in this case, I want durability with heavy usage. So, since Seagate HDDs are usually a bit cheaper than WD I wanted to take a look at them.

If you're actually wanting a NAS drive, I think that's Western Digital's Red series. If it's going to be a USB external, I'd probably get a blue, since you won't need to all that often. The black for gmaing isn't a big deal, but I will say that I would take WD over Seagate. It's usually just a personal-experience thing, but I've yet to see a WD drive fail (out of probably 10 or so), yet 2 of the 3 Seagate drives I've known people to own failed (one was mostly due to user error). I trust WD more, but like I said, it's usually just what you've experienced.

Since my response would be too long and I don't want to misuse this thread, I'm going to start a new one for questions about PC parts (like what GPU should I get for that use and this rig?).

First of all: real nice cable management!

Second: What temperatures do you get in your case? 4 coolers (1x front, 1x back, 2x top) should be sufficient in most cases of this size but since your HDD cage is pretty full and both GPUs close to a surface (backplate of the other GPU and PSU), how is the airflow in your case? Is the front cooler a SP fan?

Thanks mate! Those fans are fractal design fans, can't rememeber the exact model. They are decent. Cooling isn't great but the fans are nigh on silent. Temperatures in some intensive games like BF3 make my CPU temps go up to the low-mid 50s. Otherwise most games hover in the mid-high 40s. Those SLI GPU temps were around 70-80. The cyclone fans on the MSI 460s were outstanding both in terms of sound and cooling.

I have recently updated some parts though. I have 2 Samsung F3 1TB drives and 1 Samsung EVO 250GB now. I put the WD drive in the family PC. I removed the rear exhaust since it was making noise and in doing so accidently broke the srew hole of the fan, so no rear fan atm. The 2 top exhausts and the front intake are those fractal fans now. Finally, I have a single GTX780 from EVGA. Haven't checked temps yet, but it is pretty quiet for a dual fan cooler.

You could exchange your fan in the front for one for static pressure to reduce the heat emitted by the HDDs. That's what I'm going to do, because I want sufficient cooling for the summer.
