Just putting the finishing touches on this little baby today. It's actually made to be used for CUDA GPU processing (doing some complex image analysis) so it lives in my lab, not my house, and isn't actually for gaming. But it'll get the job done!

Speaking of which, I'm not much of a gamer but I do want to try something out to push this system to it's max...after hours, of course...so, any suggestions on what the best-looking video game on the market is, as of right now?!?

Additionally, I've never done any overclocking before, but this system is tailor made for it. I am going to spend some time playing around with pushing the system to the max. Does anyone have any advice on safe overclocking of the CPU? Will it be "forever" stable at 4GHz?

----------------------------

Motherboard: MSI X99A
CPU: Intel i7-5930K 3.5GHz
GPU: 2 ? GTX Titan 12GB in SLI
RAM: 32GB (4 ? 8GB) ADATA DDR4 2400MHz
Primary HDD:
1.2TB Intel 750 series PCI-e SSD
Secondary HDD: 2 ? 2TB 7200 RPM in RAID 0 (4TB capacity)
Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H60
Case: Zalman Z3+ mid tower

Even though my PC's dead, here's what kind of beast was it.

RAM: 512 MB
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 6200 256 MB
HDD: ??? 40 GB
Motherboard: ???
OS: Windows xp
Monitor: ?? FUJITSU SIEMENS thing

Mouse: Again, some Chineese gaming replica

As you can see this thing can barely run Super Mario. All of its inside is DDR1, so, yeah, bought it back in 2007/6 dont know, was a killer speca back then. I was the only one who could run GTA San Andreas in my neighbourd.

Whaaaat! You have TWO GTX Titans 12GB in SLI and it's NOT for gaming? Oh maaaaaan

Overclocking that i7 should be plenty safe and stable as long as you keep it cool enough and with the correct voltage settings.

*X-posted from the Gaming Rig thread*

My completely air cooled, custom built, Mid-high end gaming PC. (Original build 2010)

*New specs as of March 16, 2016*

Case - CoolerMaster HAF 932 advanced w/3 gigantic 230mm fans (one of which lights up red LED!) and one 120mm fan. This beast is probably the last full size ATX tower case I'll ever need.

Motherboard - EVGA X58 SLI LE (Intel ICH10R) LGA1366 (easily one of the best boards I've ever owned!)

Processor - Original Intel Core i7 920 Quad Core (Bloomfield) stock @2.67Ghz (had it overclocked @3.6Ghz at one point, but I'm using stock cooling, and it's a 5year old CPU now, so I'm running it at stock speeds and it still performs amazingly!!

Memory - 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 @1600Mhz (upgraded from 6GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 which would only run stable @1066Mhz)

GPU - EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX2.0 (SSC = Super SuperClocked +140Mhz (1190Mhz GPU Clock, 1753Mhz Mem. Clock)

SSD - 250GB Samsung V-NAND SSD 850 EVO

HDD Storage - 3TB Western Digital Blue spinner

PSU - Corsair CX850M 850w modular

OS - Windows 10 Pro 64bit Version 1511 (build 10586.164)

I recently added a second 960gtx in SLI because my friend borrowed me his EVGA SSC 960 2GB so why not
The benchmarks went preety good (ok better than before) But for gaming got +5fps on GTA V and -10fps on Division so yeah pretty fun.

MSI 970 GAMING Motherboard

I've built two PCs in the past but neither build worked as well as I hoped. I currently have a PowerSpec B830 with an upgrade to 2x2TB hard drives and 24 GB of RAM. I also have a Surface Book that doesn't get used.
