Office 365 licenses... is the Surface 3 a tablet or not?
Which license is used on a Surface 3?
I have a 365 home license and I already have a notebook PC (Dell) activated. My 640 LTE is also activated. So, how does it work with the Surface 3?
I thought it was a "tablet", but, I am hearing it counts as another PC.

It counts as a PC license. That may change with the introduction of a touch-optimized version of Office.

I have two tablets and guess what they are both PC's.
My wife took out an office 365 family subscription, she has one copy on her laptop, one on her Surface 2 (A real tablet in MS speak), one of my daughters and my lad have one each and I have one on my desktop and another on my Surface Pro making up 5 licenses used (The Surface 2 uses the tablet one).
So I am thinking to replace her Surface 2 and can see me having to also take out another family subscription as I will need Office on her new tablet, I wont to replace my Office 2013 on my laptop, and wouldn't mind Office on my Stream 7.
It's bad enough juggling Xbox Music as I have 5 devices and only 4 devices can use it.
MS need to think this through a bit more.
