Windows Store App 8.1 on Windows 10, Virtual Keyboard

Any app developers here? In my app a virtual keyboard does not come automatically up, when a user sets focus to a text box. Even a simple app that just contains a couple of controls with no code behind does not work. This works on 8.1 seamlessly. Anything I can do in my 8.1 project to make this work on W10? Thanks.

FYI this was intermittent. I did not restart the Surface since, but it works now as expected.
