Has anyone tried to use Condusiv Expresscache with their SSD cache drive under windows 10? Windows 10 is indicating that it is not compatible with Expresscache.

No one responded to my question, so I'm posting my experience with ExpressCasche on my Samsung i7 Series Seven NP700Z7C-s01us, so it will be searchable for others on the Internet.

The goal was to get the Samsung drivers to work after a Windows 10 upgrade including the ExpressCasche that works with the SSD cache so it would work like it did with Windows 8.1. I wanted to have the same boot times and the same flash recovery from sleep as I did on Windows 8.1.

The problem I ran into is that Windows 10 was blocking the installation of some of the Samsung drivers because Windows 10 indicated that they were not certified or compatible even though they ran in Windows 8.1.

Here is what I did with the Samsung drivers.

    1. Intel ME Interface Driver_8.1.0.1263 **Installed by running installation
    2. ExpressCache_1.0.94.0_64bit **Configured through add and remove programs. This driver installation was blocked by Windows 10, but I discovered that Windows 10 had only disabled ExpressCache during the Windows 10 upgrade and I was able to have it reconfigure its self by using the ExpressCache option provided in its installation in "add and remove program"'.
    3. Chipset Driver_9.3.0.1021 **Installed by running installation
    4. Intel Rapid Storage Technology _11.6.0.1030 **Installed by running iata_cd in sub directory (setup, was blocked by Windows 10)

These are the SSD cache results by running ExpressCache eccmd at the command prompt and the stats seem to improve over time. The main point is that eccmd shows that the cache is working. The system is very fast now like it was with Windows 8.1.

Samsung technical support is telling callers that they will have Windows 10 compatible drivers for all Samsung computers currently running Windows 7 or 8 through SW Update, but they have no timeline when they will be available.

    Hi,
I'm in a same situation with a laptop Samsung NP700Z3C...
Where did you found the drivers?
    Any others indications of procedures?
    Thanks

I believe you can get the drivers by installing the Samsung SW Update program on your system and then using SW Update download the drivers for your system.

I confirmed this is working, and it's really caching sometime "over time".

In addition, DO NOT run "eccmd -format" command after the successfully installation, you will need to reinstall expresscache software and driver again.
