I really would like a windows laptop. I am looking at the HP Pavilion 14t and 15t. The 14t would be great for it is smaller and would be more portable. The 15t, on the other hand, would be better for media and Minecraft as it has a larger screen size. These laptops are both able to be customized to what I want-
    Windows 10 Home 64
    6th Gen Intel(R) Core() i7-6500U Dual Processor+Intel(R) HD Graphics 520
    8GB DDR3L - 1 DIMM
    1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
    Back-lit Keyboard
Both have dvd drives and same amount of ports
and both end up to be the same price-$670($669.99)
There is one difference though, the 14" is only able to have a 1366x768 screen resolution while the 15" is able to have a 1920x1080 screen resolution. Is a 1366x768 bad for 14"?

Weight- the 14" weighs 4.33lbs(2ish kilograms) and the 15" weighs about 5.07lbs.(2.3 kilograms)

    Questions
1.) Is there a big difference between 14" and 15"?
2.) Which one do you think is a better deal?

    1) Yes, the difference is significant, especially if you get the HD screen on the 14t vs FHD on the 15t
    2) I would prefer the 14t with the HD display + the 940M if possible. If I am not too worried about the weight then the 15t with FHD screen and 940M would be a better choice.

I have a 15" laptop now and preferred my older 14". But we also have a 15" for the kids to use, and that works great.

Your best bet is probably go look in a store at them (or same screen sizes) and see what you prefer.

Not bad spec PCs. Would probably not spend the extra money on the Intel i7-6500 but stick with base i5-6200U. They won't be much different. But I would bump WiFi to Intel 802.11ac

I think I might go with the i5 version depending on how much money I have when I get it. Oh and I was going to get the intel wifi but I forgot to click it. Thank you.

FWIW, I've not been happy with HP lately. Seems they need cash to get over their last few years of boondoggles. Palm/killing webOS hardware/Autonomy/etc.

I think their quality is slipping. My wife's HP laptop died after just over 2 years and it was not a cheap model. The fan never stopped. It ran hot until it committed suicide.

My former laptop was a Gateway. It lasted over 5 years through heavy service. We have both got Dell laptops in June and they seem very solid despite being on the budget end.

I think HP's greatness is behind them some ways and has yet to come around again.

An HP dv6. (LOL I still have it to part out). By comparison my Gateway was an NV53.

We are now on Dell Inspiron i3543 Signature editions.

I have an Asus 15t, and I have an HP which is a 14t. I like 15t better. I don't know why but I prefer 15t. I think it is just really up to you.
