Laptops come in all shapes and designs. My favourite has been my old hp pavilion which had an excellent 17.3 inch screen with a pleasing 16:10 aspect ratio. It was great for videos, reading, typing and general productivity

What screen size do you like/prefer? And what aspect ratio?

Thank you

ps: ignore the typing error above :grincry:

I've had a ton of phones and tablets come and go but I can't seem to get rid of my Gateway NV79. It's a 17.3" that came originally with Windows 7 back in '09. Now it's on Windows 10 Pro with Insider build 14332 and it still feels new. Personally, I like 4:3 but I can live with 16:10.

I have the Nexus 6 (6" screen) and a new 950XL (5.5" screen). I prefer the larger screen for many reasons; the least of which is my old eyes. Even back in the old days (2013 -2015), I lobbied for larger screens. Guess my answer is larger than 5.5".

I prefer 5"+ phone screen size. Mostly for watching HD videos. Also the touch buttons appear larger on larger displays making typing quite easier.

Is it? Then 15.6" is ideal for me. Non-HD display will also do. 15.6" laptops have extended keyboards which I prefer for typing numbers. All in all I like large screens on all kinds of devices.

15.6 didn't always have full keyboards. The older models had the usual keyboard without numeric keypad

I love my 15.6", 16:9 laptop for work and playing games and for video viewing and web surfing I'm okay with my 10.1" 2-in-1 tablet.

EDIT:

May 15.6" laptop have a full keyboard but its a little pretty cluttered but its not that bad.

I have replaced my 15 inch laptop with a 10.8 inch Dell Venue 11 Pro tablet. I could not be happier. It does everything I need.

Having said that, I would still like a decent gaming desktop with a 24 inch screen if I had the money. Lol.

I have a 17 inch gaming laptop and that's as small as I'll go for gaming but for portable use I'll go with a 13 inch preferably but a 15 could work.....
