Hello, I'm hoping a knowledgeable person could answer a few questions I have.

I’ve some how become intrigued over a refurbished desktop pc available at Newegg Canada.
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883286003&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCA-PC-_-pla-_-Desktop+PC-_-N82E16883286003&gclid=CInDkuH329MCFRCpaQodqnsK0g

It has a AMD 7th Gen A12 9800 APU and a graphics card ( Radeon R7 450) that has its own 2 Gig
of DDR 5 Ram, although from what I can tell they don’t run in dual mode its just one or the other.

More info:
https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c05281246
And here:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2890/radeon-r7-450-oem

Two things that have me curious are:

1: are the discrete graphics of this card much better than the apu’s?
2: would this pc have a video card upgrade path with its willow motherboard?

The price is pretty good in Canadian dollars

Thanks!

That video card will be much better than integrated or apu graphics.
According to your link for the PC from HP the motherboard has a full height slot so any other card should work if you want to replace it.

Looks like a good choice for a desktop.
I think you'll be fine.
Good luck there!
