Just read this article.

Chiming in regarding the X1 Tablet.

The X1 Tablet hasn't had a refresh in a while now. Lenovo was producing an update regularly:

Gen 1: 2016
Gen 2: 2017
Gen 3: 2018

Now it's 2021 and there hasn't been an update since 2018.

There have been a few issues that have dogged this family of tablets:

1. CPU is cranked back when unplugged
2. Power unit can be unreliable and may need replacing
3. Keyboard can be damaged when pulled from the display because of magnets
4. Driver issues with the keyboard
5. Have to do a manual reset of machine about once a month
6. Fingerprint sensor is temperamental and often doesn't work

Maybe Lenovo has found these issues insurmountable and given up on the 2-in-1 detachable format.

That list would ensure that I'd never buy one again.
