Hello WP community,

This is a plea to developers to please create a todo/task/reminder app that includes subtask capability. There are a million task apps out there, and the majority of them do similar things...they allow sorting of todos, they allow for quick new item entering, they allow alarms/reminders to be set...but none of them allow for threaded subtasks! This greatly limits the utility of the apps to grocery lists and meetings. But I'm a professional who wants to be able to manage a project-related to-do list like the following:

* Need to submit application 1 for so-and-so grant 1
--> Introduction
---> Need to get information on so-and-so
---> Ask Ben to find so-and-so
---> Does so-and-so exist?
---> Call Mike re so-and-so
--> Cost Data
---> Need to get numbers from so-and-so
--->
--> BioSketches
---> Talk to Roberta to get so-and-so
---> Write my own
--> Need to get info from so-and-so website

* Need to submit application 2 for so-and-so grant 2
--> Introduction
---> Need to get information on so-and-so
---> Ask Ben to find so-and-so
---> Does so-and-so exist?
---> Call Mike re so-and-so
--> Cost Data
---> Need to get numbers from so-and-so
--->
--> BioSketches
---> Talk to Roberta to get so-and-so
---> Write my own
--> Need to get info from so-and-so website

* Need to submit application 3 for so-and-so grant 3
--> Introduction
---> Need to get information on so-and-so
---> Ask Ben to find so-and-so
---> Does so-and-so exist?
---> Call Mike re so-and-so
--> Cost Data
---> Need to get numbers from so-and-so
--->
--> BioSketches
---> Talk to Roberta to get so-and-so
---> Write my own
--> Need to get info from so-and-so website

Many existing todo lists on the market today could be adapted to allow for this type of threaded subtask flexibility, which could essentially mimic the threaded design of the email app. Or, a new app could be developed that was designed around this "entire project outline" capability. I can't imagine I'm the only one out there who would benefit from this, or who would buy this.

So please, developers: build this!

Thanks
Matt
