Ok i'm an american teaching in china. I had an android phone i loved but it got stolen two days ago. My girlfriend bought me a new windows phone, the luminia 800. great phone so far but when they set up my account it showed i was in china. I have since found out that the marketplace for apps in china is very limited. I have a VPN so that part is no problem. I was wondering if there was a way to change the status in being in china or a place online other than microsoft marketplace to get apps for my phone?
Also my android was rooted so i had more access. will i have to do a similiar thing to my windows phone?
