It's legit given the publisher's name, but looks like it's still in Beta so unless you're approved it won't allow the download.

The good news is it obviously means it's coming soon.

So either this is a strange April Fool's joke, or it is an anti-April Fool's joke and is coming out tomorrow.

Been looking at the XAP and this page for hours trying to figure out if its real or fake. Its very convincing, though those screenshots can be found as concept images here, but the app description does not hide that and in fact gives the person credit for his work (which means he may have been hired to create the UI for the WP version of Instagram).

Its beta, which means no one except allowed accounts can download the app, and the XAP cannot be sideloaded through conventional means.

Guess we'll just have to wait till tomorrow? As that April 1st plug means it may be released then...

Note that it doesn't say "April Fools!" but simply "Happy April 1st!", which could imply its a surprise, which is on a day that we usually don't see such things... so this'll be a real nice headline come tomorrow. Make the morning papers, ey?

Also, not one reputable media outlet has yet to mention this. With all the Instgram love and recent news, you'd think most places would have jumped on reporting this as soon as possible... that kinda makes me think that someone knows something somewhere. Like maybe there is an NDA or embargo on this until tomorrow. WPCentral knows and won't say anything until that NDA/embargo is lifted?
