Hi all - I use Flickr to post some of my photos and when I signed up I selected to sign into it using my Google account information however after downloading the Flickr app in the store I only see an option to sign in with a Yahoo account. Is it possible to sign in via google as I can online from a computer?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Or, is there a third party Flickr app that is even better than the original one that will allow it?

Unfortunately there is no good flickr client available in the WP store. You can try Pixl (Pixl for Flickr | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (भारत))

You can't even use a Yahoo sign in because apparently the official Flickr app in the Store has been dead for weeks not allowing anyone to sign in at all. I emailed them & they were no help at all. Pretty worthless company.

Yahoo! recently acquired Tumblr, and Flickr (owned by Yahoo!) recently switched to a 1.5GB storage scheme, so they have a lot going on internally right now. Taking all this into consideration I'd say they pulled the plug on it temporarily and are probably rebuilding the entire app from scratch (not to mention iPhone/Android/Blackberry/etc).

The last update was over a year ago which means it's technically still a WP7 app so it's long overdue for one.

Edit: Actually, they upgraded storage to 1TB that's 1000GB
