Halo Spartan Assault info for those who don't know about the Verizon Deal...

Verizon has signed with Microsoft for a first grab deal on the game. Verizon customers using Windows Phone 8 now get to play the game before the rest of us. The Verizon deal is just a first grab deal which usually last 2-4 weeks tho speculation puts it at 8/16/2013 for broad release meaning 4 weeks. It certainly is a sad piece of information for the rest of us but we will just have to hang in there and hope its 2 weeks instead of 4 I suppose.

The launch date has been confirmed via Halowaypoint.com (Games:Halo: Spartan Assault Halo Official Site). You will want to scroll near the bottom.

Initial release 7/18/2013 for Windows 8 PCs/Tablets and Windows 8 Phones (Exclusively to Verizon Wireless until 8/16/2013). I guess I will be an expert at the game playing on my Windows 8 computer before I can get it on my AT&T Lumia 920!

You can play on Windows 8 just not Windows Phone 8.
