It seems Samsung is not yet ready to give up on Windows Phone platform. Latest benchmarks on GFX Bench has revealed a new Samsung Windows Phone device with the name SGH-I187. The device will sport 720X1280 screen which is now a standard in mid-high range smartphones and it currently runs on Windows Phone 8 OS. The device will be powered by Adreno 305 GPU and Dual core processor.

In benchmark results, it fared above ATIV S and HTC Windows Phone 8X and slightly slower than the Nokia Lumia 920.

Who knows? Samsung may rig the benchmark and give it better performance just for that app. Samsung skewed Galaxy S4 reviews by rigging benchmarks, report says | The Verge
Don't be fooled by this company who often cheat and copy.

On top of that, I doubt Samsung is committed to Windows Phone at all. They are just seeing the success of Lumia 520/720 and they plan to flood more low end phones.
