I can't believe I only found a couple of posts with Cortana! I made one starting with the same source as another post, but that one was slightly photoshopped going in. I also have Iron Man and Man of Steel (very fitting for my Lumia 925, I think).
Also, has anyone else noticed that the image quality seems to vary by device? From what I can gather looking through the forum, the smoothest images seem to come from the 920. My 925 makes a lot of images extra grainy, and some come out with ugly red or green pixels throughout. My Cortana, for instance, becomes inundated with green pixels if left on the first slider position. Is it just me? (Sorry I don't have a camera to show my actual glance screen.)
Hi, my name is Tim Bird, i have a question, wont the glance screen picture cause screen burnout? this is a cool idea as long as it doesn't damage the screen on my beloved lumia 925

In the bigger picture its just a phone with a very limited lifetime. I don't know the answer to your question but its one that I personally don't care about. Have fun with it! If it worries you that much you can always turn it off.
Attention contestants. I want to remind everybody that inappropriate language and nudity are not allowed on the forum. If your Glance Screen contains foul language or nudity it has been and or will be removed from this thread.

My wife has a Nokia 808 and this application was called Sleeping Screen with Symbian^3. She's had Sleeping Screen running for 2 years and there is no indication of screen burn or damage from it.
