I was normally logging into Instagram on my Lumia 620, and typed in an incorrect password twice. The third time when I entered the password, I could see it in normal letters and it was unencrypted.

I can't tell if this is a small or a large bug. I don't know if our information is sent to the servers encrypted or unencrypted. Please check this on your own device and see if it's just me.
I've reported the bug to Instagram Support on Twitter but they haven't replied yet. I can't seem to figure out a way to contact them directly to solve the bug.

Even if this bug is not very serious, I think that Instagram is failing on WP. Well, it's still in beta, and I hope that they fix the bug...

Its not a bug, it is by design. Even on Facebook if you enter your password incorrectly it shows up in plaintext so the user can see what he is doing wrong
