I saw the DC-18 portable charger at a Microsoft store I went to recently, and it looked pretty sweet! The thing is, it costs $25 and only packs ~1700 mAh. I saw a portable "lipstick" charger from Anker on Amazon too for $20 that comes with ~3000 mAh of charge! Is there any advantage of this charger that I didn't see, besides the awesome design?

If you posted links or full specs for each charger it might be easier to make an informed recommendation
but without that, the advantage of one over the other is obvious, 1700 mAh vs 3000 mAh

Reading the bad reviews is seems that most don't read that it might not have the correct cord for their phone, and it doesn't come with an AC 0.8A adapter to recharge the charger and they don't read where it takes 6 hours to charge the charger the first time and 3-4 hrs. after that.
It doesn't say what the output is ( only the capacity ) so who knows how long it takes to charge your phone, but I guess you just use while it's plugged in.
