Is there a way to change file associations in Windows phone?
The problem is that I am receiving emails in an xls format with images buried in the tables which Mobile Excel doesn't display. I cant change the format I am being sent as that's outside my control so I was hoping to force the xls extension to open in a different application. Any thoughts or suggestions other than running to my desktop each time I get one of these emails.

Here is the list of reversed file types that only the operating system can handle. MS does not allow third party apps to handle these files. Surprisingly, .xlsx is missing from that list but there is .xltx, so I think it's just a typo.
