I use
Keypass 2.26
So...
I am using
7pass for my phone.
and I use
PassKeep for Windows 8.1
however, if you use Key Files, editing in PassKeep or 7Pass and saving can (most likely will) corrupt the database
Keep a backup somewhere.
Only make changes (such as changing passwords etc, adding entries) in Keypass itself and upload the new database to OneDrive
You may have to download the KeyFile again to re-associate it, but it works.
Otherwise, do not use a Keyfile. However, I recommend it. And I keep the keyfile on a different supported Cloud
Just keep in mind, only make the changes in KeyPass and then upload the new database
You may have to redownload the KeyFile after the changes have been made
But, once you get the database setup and configured
Changes won't be all that often, every 30days at minimum.
This combination works for me to keep my database up to date and accessible from any device/system.
7pass does take a few moments to open the database the first time.
But after that, if you saved the password, it opens quickly.
There are conflicts when making changes between the apps back and forth
I strongly recommend using Keypass for ALL changes that need to be made to the database
from editing entries to adding new ones at ALL times. Don't use these apps to make the changes
Make mental notes or something for any changes that need to be later directly in KeePass.
Overall through, despite the conflict issues, this combination is pretty solid for a purely free solution.
You can purchase 7pass to support the dev, but you do not have to.
PassKeep is free, but I might make a donation
I believe he is working on a Windows Phone App as well.
If that is the case, that is what I will use going forward, this will probably eliminate the conflicts and database corruptions.
I have made several suggestions to the dev of PassKeep and hoping they can be implemented.
For now, the best one for the phone IMO, is 7pass.
