No I was playing it in phone memory.
And now, it still lags but much more less than before.

Asphalt 8 will not lag on SD card! Only sometimes! How can Rival Knight's lag?

Lag as hell. Decided to delete and reinstall. Now, can't even load. Deleted again, and manual download and side load. Wont start anymore. Game version 1.0.0.7

Doesn't lag the slightest bit. Neither on my 1020, nor on my 1520 (k, that's no surprise). Same goes for Rival Knights, where I've seen many people complain about performance issues too. Tried a soft reset or at least a reboot? Maybe your storage is almost full?

Hmm will soft reset and clear up more space. Got 1GB free though.. Hope goes well.

Asphalt overdrive doesn't lag a bit on my 1320. Minor issues like can't play offline & can't connect to fb, but still pretty good. Hey has anyone made any gangs in asphalt overdrive? If yes, add me(Driver 19332). I am on the top of the leader board in one of the events, so nobody would regret adding me.
