Hi friends.... Is there any YouTube downloader app for downloading videos by screen resolution or (240p,480p,720,1080p) etc ?????

Try metrotube(but you can not export those videos to SD card ). Download youtube videos is illegal and again google/youtube policy.

Wasn't Google about to change that policy? At least for their very own YouTube apps. I heard about that a couple of months ago.

@OP There are tons of apps that allow downloading YouTube videos or ripping videos from other sources. You might want to check out Get Them All. There are two versions in the store, but there doesn't seem to be any difference between them.

Nope they didn't. Instead they added more adverts in videos lol.

I really wished Microsoft would come up with a competitor. I'm sick and tired of YouTube. And if there were a really good alternative, I could finally delete my Google account, as YouTube is the last of their services I'm still using.

True , I really want users to use Vimeo, dailymotion.

auto updates were enabled on my iPad. And they removed the caching feature.

Use UC Browser, on the youtube page a video icon will pop up in bottom left corner. It gives options to 'watch offline, which is basically downloading.

Or while browsing, simply change "www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxx" to "ssyoutube.com/watch?v=xxxxxx". It will redirect you to savefrom.net where you can download the video in various formats.

Or use MyTube. It can download the youtube videos and saves them in videos folder by default.

The only problem with all the above options is that the upper limit is 720p (1080p does not show up). try it and post how it goes.
