I think the UI on Windows phones should be more in line with the UI on PC's/tablets. This concept is a great attempt at that, as I see it, and it's very appealing!

Yeah, a little bit. I tried to make them like Windows 8.1. The funny thing is that I started working on these concepts before Google's I/O. I think it's not important, because Microsoft, Apple and Google use a Flat/Modern style, so they are all similar.
