Inspired by Daniel's news post about a possible Lumia 925 successor:
Microsoft should make a Lumia 925 successor now before it is too late | Windows Phone Central
...and the dicussion followed in the news comments.

What is your favorite case DESIGN? Please vote in this poll :)

I'm not asking for your favorite phone regarding hardware features.
Just looking at the design of the case. I recognized four different designs.

Design A: like the L920 (or L800, L900, L1020) - http://i.nokia.com/r/image/view/-/2692684/extraHighRes/1/-/920ohneengagdet-jpg.jpg
Design B: like the L925 - http://i.nokia.com/r/image/view/-/2440078/extraHighRes/8/-/Nokia-Lumia-925.jpg
Design C: like the L930 (or L810, L928) - http://i.nokia.com/r/image/view/-/3453144/extraHighRes/2/-/Nokia-Lumia-930-Beauty2.jpg
Design D: like the L530 (or L510, L520, L525, L620, L720, L820) - http://i.nokia.com/r/image/view/-/3628888/extraHighRes/4/-/Nokia-Lumia-530-hero-jpg.jpg

Don't think so - seems to be the same case design like die L920 - isn't it?

If you are talking only about design languages, then yes, agreed. Although then we should be voting on 'fabula', not the 920 specifically.

In terms of actual appearance, I'd say the 800 is akin to a very well trained K1 kick boxer, whereas the 920 is more of a sumo wrestler.

You missed the best of them all... the Lumia 800.

I agree. On my Lumia 800 I found this design awesome and at the time of the N9 it was really something new!

I never liked the same design on the Lumia 920, it is too big and clumsy and I preferred the mate finish of the Lumia 800. The 925 was an amazing improvement over it. But also the Lumia 930 looks and feels awesome.

I guess I'd go for the Lumia 930 in above selection.

I'm sorry if my opening post is mistakable - I'm not a native english speaker.
How should I rephrase it? For me the L800 has the same case design as the L920.

No need to be sorry. Just mention exactly that in your first post. I'm sure everyone will understand!

I went with 925. I have a 928 and that would be my second choice (I like it over the 920, which is my third pick). If the 928 or the 920 weighed the same as the 925, I'd pick those but since design encompasses all aspects of a look including weight, I'll go with the 925. Looks great, feels nice and light in the hand. Agree with Daniel, making an updated version would do the trick for so many of us. Although I'd prefer a 4.5-4.8 screen to a 5 inch one.

800, 900, 920, 620, 820, 720, 1020, 925. they're all gorgeous and feel great in the hand.

The 930 is a generic brick in comparison. Not as cheap and blocky as the 928 but a serious downgrade in design.

It doesn't look revolutionary or really special. But it feels like a serious high-quality piece of hardware. I was really impressed (and a little surprised) when I had it in my hands.

Of course, it all comes down to taste, but I like it.

The L920 has a matte finish too. Looks to me like it's the same material as the L800. Isn't it?

I looked it up, the L920 Black seems to be available in matt.

However, what's less impressive is Nokia's choice of finishes. On the Lumia 800, all the colour options were available in a matt finish which looked and felt great. Here, though, all but the black model use a glossy finish.

Nokia Lumia 920 review - Mobile Phones - TrustedReviews

For the rest of them I agree with the review, as it just wasn't my taste.

Thank you - I tried my best to update these information to the first posting.

My only problem now is how do I say Fabula is best on a smaller device, like the 800, but worst when too big, like on the 920 ;-)

I'd say 800, ... (nothing)... , 720, 925, 930 (just a box, but a nice box), 920 (too large for the screen's size)

Abstaining on the 900, as I never held one.
