Since 1520 and 1020 were both niche devices I'd like them combined into one.
For fall 2015 flagship I'd like:
6" IPS LCD @2k with glance, gorilla glass 3 or latest, less gap between screen so it should seem to pop. thin bezels, capacitive keys.
41MP 1/1.3" Rear sensor with zeiss, pure view, supersampling, haac mics, dual led + xeon and ability to use them simultaneously like a 3 point lighting system.
13MP 1/2.3" front sensor with dual led and xeon flash, zeiss and pureview.
720p @240fps, 1080p @120fps, 4k @60fps for both front and rear cameras video recording with surround sound and directional haac mic recording.
Dedicated camera button.
Stylus/Digital pen integration and inclusion in the body.
SD 810, Adreno 440.
4GB RAM
128/256Gb storage
Micro SD Card slot
4000+mah removable battery and removable back cover.
Finger print scanner.
Dual Stereo Front Speakers with Dolby audio.
USB OTG
SD card slot.
Micro sim slot.
Thin metallic sides with curved removable metallic back in gold, silver, white, grey, black, crimson, navy blue, lime, orange, yellow, pink, cyan, mauve, steel, chocolate colours, Qi wireless charging, turbo charging.

I don't care if they price it at $1000. I'd buy such a device in a heart beat.

6 inch lcd IPS screen either 1080p or 2k with glance
2gb ram
32/64 gb options with micro SD card
20MP back camera with xenon flash and OIS (improved over the last gen) ability to save full size jpeg and 2.1 or 5 front facing camera ( I'm not bothered bout ffc)
Snapdragon 805 with adreno 430
Maybe on screen key, but definitely camera shutter
Slightly smaller bezel
Windows 10 with support for stylus ( stylus fits in body like in in note series)
Stereo speakers would be nice
3500mph battery
9/9.5mm thickness
Price tag ?470 for 32gb and ?520 for 64gb versions
Edit: Optional interactive case would be nice

All MS Windows Phone User needs some thing bigger not like you...
Processor must be 64 Bit Snapdragon higher
Ram Minimum 4 GB
Camera 41 MP Minimum
Battery Much higher than 1520
Fingerprint
HDMI Cable
Front Facing Must Have 8 MP Because MS released 5 MP in 535 rear & front in 535
Metal Body
Built in Memory 128 GB & Card Supported because there is need right now for that moliplayer & most other players dont need to convert any thing any movie, songs, put original format, size so there is storage problem etc so its must have need it

I'm not asking them to reinvent the wheel here. I guess I'm looking more for a 1525 - the same size and body design, but use a Samsung AMOLED display (like the Note 4's display), and change the camera to a f2.0 lens for better low-light performance. Add in more glossy polycarbonate colour options instead of the matte finish, and I'm happy.

The most critical feature of a 1530 would be world wide release. I would have immediately bought a 1520 upon launch if it had been made available in Canada.

The 1520 has one major design fault. Round corners would make a huge difference to how big it feels, or awkwardly it handles. Even if t would be small, say the shape of screen edges, it would be much better.

I don't get this AMOLED thing? Ok, unrealistically vibrant colors might look appealing to some, lets forget that, but I love the IPS for not consuming more battery with white. The battery consumption difference is huge on white/black with AMOLED. You can check search for benchmarks about that on the web.

I love the black levels of AMOLED. As an ATIV S user, side by side with a Lumia 920, the ATIV S' display looks so much better. I love the dark native theme of windows phone, and that lends itself to being a perfect match for AMOLED technology.. I also want AMOLED so that Glance actually makes sense. There is no point to using Glance Screen with an LCD display. I will admit that IPS LCD is superior for sunlight readability.

I disagree with your design fault. I hate round corners. Round corners look 2008ish and look like everything else (iPhone and Galaxy phones), I love the Lumia 920 / 925 / 1520 design language.

*Solar powered device. With a button toggle to turn on or off cause you know? Over charging your device will end up killing the life span of the battery. Make it the technology that Microsoft invented it. Then as other copy along and we'll get the fame.

*Gorilla glass 4. NOT 3 (gorilla glass 3 breaks fast) cause its the display for entertainment, I wouldn't be happy if the screen cracks. And such a display cracks ill be mad.

*similar design to Lumia 930/830. Metallic sides and polycarbonate back plates with removable back cover so I can change the color. With removable battery. Sides edges like Lumia 930. I don't care if it thick. Just don't make its too thick. The Lumia 930's thickness is fine. And hopefully it doesn't bend like an iPhone.

*stylus would be really great. The surface pro 3 stylus was great.

*make this Lumia 1530 really great and it will be comparing every single device out there for 2015 on YouTube. Then People will get notice of windows phone.

Phones don't overcharge anymore. Haven't for a long time. All modern phones will simply stop charging when they are full. This is just one of those persistent internet rumors that refuses to due.
