I would really like a lumia 730 to be ip67 certified or something like that.
my dad still has a stereotype nokia Phone and his work requires him to have a well build Phone.

does anyone think something like this is going to happen?
and what kind of design does the dream device have?
an aluminium thing like the 930 or 925?
sharp edges like the 930 or more round like other lumias?
a lumia 630 design with an aluminium thing and dust resistant would be a dream device that my dad would buy because it would hopefully be a little bit more affordable than your dream device.

what do you think about a 1440 * 2560 screen?

My dream device would include a core i7-4790k, 8 GB RAM, a 1024 GB SSD, a 4.7" 1080p IPS LCD, a 41 MP camera without a bump, a sapphire glass screen, and a battery that lasts all day. It would be only 7mm thick. Unfortunatly, dream devices are never real.

make a custom ceramic back for the 930. I would say aluminium but you'll likely loose wireless and radio's doing that. Maybe not, worth a try I suppose... You'd also need a large supply of ceramic as it'd shatter all the time at that thickness ^.^

you know, the surface concept in the first post looks VERY similar to a Nokia 930. Just change the back from its curved polycarponate to a flat vapor MG case and you'd have yourself a surface phone like in that pic.

you are asking for too much with processor and water proofing

i think mine is attainable i just built on yours really MS can surely do this.

5.2" 2160 X 1440 screen super amoled.
3GB ram.
snapdragon 805 or latest for 2015.
2600 - 3300 mah battery (integrated) would prefer removable (Samsung did it @ 6.7mm with a metal frame *galaxy alpha* so no excuses MS.)
micro sd card slot with either 16 or 32 GB internal storage.
20MP or better camera OIS, HDR, Dual Tone led flash, 4k video recording @ 30FPS min 60 FPS max + 5MP front camera and camera modes software wise.
JBL stereo speakers could be front firing or top and bottom firing.
Sensors: Accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, humidity.
IR blaster remote control.
Wireless charging.
BT 4.0 LE, NFC, WiFi AC, USB 3.1 C connector, 3.5 mil headphone jack.
notification light.
Vapor MG casing.
surface accessories (high end head phones, high amp quick charger, Quick view case (s5/htc dotview like).
Slim device between 8 and 9mm.

Windows Phone 8.x or 9 with special surface apps that are well written i mean exceptionally written MS no half baked goods.
NEW Windows Features
And force existing app developers to write exceptionally well designed (looking) functional apps please no betas or half baked stuff its annoying
Awesome Google integration and more apps.
this is your surface device here

Wow... That thing is sexy as he'll, and if the specs you listed for it are real, Seasmy, then I'm sold and I know what my next phone will be. I just hope they make this have the 3-column medium-sized Live Tile layout. I don't know if I can go back to 2 after having my Lumia 1520 since the week it came out. Any idea what this phone is called?? It really does look like a Surface phone, but I want to find out more about it and just need to know what word(s) I need to Bing in order to find it.
