Can't decide between 1020 and 925

Hi

Been using a 720 for a while now but feel I need sum beefier specs. Can't decide whether to get a 925 or a 1020. Just getting one for a year to tie me over till next contract and can get a diff flagship. I like taking photos bit I am no expert. Also not sure how off putting the bump on the back of the car will be.

Any thoughts?? Same price both second hand. Both seem excellent with minor wear and tare.

both phones are almost same specs, came around almost same time and everything except
1. camera (1020 is unbeatable beast)
2. battery performance (though battery is same, 1020 performance is poorer in comparison)

if u r not into photography much, go with 925. it's metal shell is really nice and classy. gives u really premium feel.
and camera for 925 is also really good for a phone. all the things from a camera in day to day life.

I have a 925 and that premium feel while real makes the phone so slippery it is unusable without a case. For the same price I would go with the 1020.

Though I prefer the way the 925 looks, since you mentioned you like taking photos then 1020 is better for you

Hi I have a Lumia 925. The 1020 has a better camera and more battery life, but for me it seems more "cheap" than Lumia 925. The camera on Lumia 1020 is absolutely fantastic but even Lumia 925 is not so bad.

Are you mad?! Get the Lumia 1020.lol But no, get what makes the most sense to you. The 925 only gives you 16gb of internal storage though. And the camera and feel of the 1020 is supreme. I really love the 925 design though over any other Lumia.

I've owned the 925 for just about a year, looked at the 1020 at the time but it was considerably more expensive. At the same price and as long as both in excellent condition I'd go with the 1020.
Having said that never regretted getting the 925 apart from the odd time I could have done with being able to zoom for a photo.

You can't overlook the importance of storage either. The 16gb vs 32gb of the 925 and 1020 respectively make a huge difference.

Since you like taking pictures get the 1020. Once you get your hands on its camera, you'll consider being an expert in photography.
