I got the update last night to my radar (ad free). Upon checking out the app after update I noticed that the "warnings" in-app upgrade/purchase said I had to buy again. I purchased that upgrade over a year ago.
I contacted their support and have an open ticket. I was advised they are streamlining the app to work with windows and windows phone. So that if u purchased any features in windows it will go to your phone. So apparently its not backwards, as i purchased it for my phone and not windows.
This can be a big issue for devs. I noticed this before with my own wpcentral app and a couple others. I ended up purchasing again and MS refunded the second purchase after they confirmed the history. I may have to do it again. just don't like the Hassel.
