Despicable Me : Minion Rush Update issue

Hi, I use a Lumia 525

Since today Minion Rush tells me that a new update is available and then sends me the store, but when there it cannot find any update to install.
I can disable the network connection but then it doesn't let me play the holiday events.

Has anyone seen behavior like this, before?
Is there any way to save the progress of the game so that I can try to reinstall?

I have got exactly the same problem. Not only am I annoyed that I can't play (and can't progress on the Arctic challenge!) I'm also a bit worried that I will lose my daily logins - I'm at about 80 consecutive days now and would be most frustrated indeed if I had to start back at day 1! :( I've already logged in successfully earlier today but I now can't get past the 'update available' screen. I too was going to uninstall and reinstall but didn't want to risk losing my saved game. :(

I've tryed unistall/install again, since i have the facebook account in it I hope my saves where there.
But the game still don't work.
Now i try again to open it and it seems to work... But was the old version, whitout the lab!
However it freeze again whit the same message of the ghost new version...
Hope they fix it!:devil:
