How do you use One Note for to do's

Every time I search around, on this and other sites, for a good to do app (the one in the calendar is useless to me), there is always someone on some forum who says they use One Note for their to dos.

How does one use One Note for to do? When I open it I see a list of notes (in no particular order that I can discern) I don't see any way to make things repeat or have due dates. Am I missing something essential? Is there a secret way to use One Note for to do's? What I'm afraid of is that the folks who use One Note for to do just make a note that says: get at grocery and a list. I need something more complicated.

Thanks in advance

Or...

You can try some other applications for creating and managing ToDo's like this I am using:

OneDo

Cheers!

Re: How do you use One Note for to do's

I use OneNote all the time for "ToDo's" and other note items.
Creating a new note format is somewhat simple.

OneNote is what I would say is a best feature for Windows phones and even on Android.

I've tried a few other note apps and always return to OneNote.
A very powerful app if one chooses to take time and get familiar.
