Worth noting that today's 5" phones are generally the same size as the 92x phones, just with a 5" display and a little bit of extra height.

Namely the 4.7" 73x, 5" 830 and 640...

4.5 is the same as 5 confused lol?? looking at the 635 model right now!, the 640 vs 635 seems bit of a difference.
129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2 mm, 78.5 cc (5.10 x 2.63 x 0.36 in) VS 141.3 x 72.2 x 8.8 mm (5.56 x 2.84 x 0.35 in)

I meant the exterior dimensions aren't too different between the 920 and say, 830.
The 635 is smaller than the 920 slightly, so there's that as you have found out.

The Lumia 925 is the best bang for the buck if you can find one in new condition.
Best to grab one before they disappear forever.

I used to have a 925 and have mad respect for that model. Fantastic all-around Windows Phone and the best low-light-no-flash shooter I've ever used.

925 looks nice, but read it isn't great with battery! Think i will wait for the new win 10 phone releases. and keep 532 for now. No 4.5 are appealing to me with the features i need.

I think that when the next phones come out, it is a gamble as to whether there will even be a 4.5" screen. The entire industry is going larger.

The 925 easily got me through a day, but I'm not a power user. You are right to be wary though. Those batteries are aging now and it is a sealed unit.

I'd give that Blu Win JR LTE another look if I were you. The Snapdragon 410 SoC is a solid processor for that class, you get flash with your camera and 2000 mAh is a nice battery size to power a 4.5" screen - especially with the increased efficiency of the 410 SoC. Best part: Blu has pledged this unit will get 10. Blu has a trend going of pushing OTAs quickly after they get it from Microsoft. It's Factory Unlocked and no carrier in the way of your upgrade to 10.

Here's the spec: BLU Win JR LTE - Full phone specifications

Most likely this won't change with Windows 10. For some weird reason OEMs all seem to think that premium equals large, thus there are no full-featured phones with screens smaller than 5" anymore. If you want something small you have to either buy an outdated model or an "affordable" device that will have several corners cut.

Good luck to you anyway, I'm in the same boat. Had the 635 and 830, and both were too large for me. Now, not only because of size but for other reasons too, I'm back to the 4" iPhone 5S and am loving it, and also keep an 3.5" iPhone 4S around that I like even more and would use as daily driver if it wasn't for the dying battery that I didn't get around to replace yet.

I'm still using a 920 which has a 4.5 inch screen... Which feels about the right size.

That looked great, but few reports on battery drain..:eck: 735 is another contender great reviews. and well I maybe able to live with 4.7 not that much bigger. Edit..Ughhhhh no Glance screen that's out! :grincry:.......I think i will wait see what's around the corner, keep checking in here....My 532 is suitable for another 6 months. Thanks for the suggestions......:excited:
