    In a nutshell it consolidates monitoring of all sensors on the SoC and makes some neat tricks available. "Hey Cortana" being a famous example. Though that needs a certain level of SoC to achieve. Step counter is another neat trick and one I particularly like right now. Gestures Beta leverages Sensor Core as well.

    Sensor Core, at base, is hardware. It needs software to make it do anything.
