    Planning to replace 6 year old desktop computer. Monitor seems fine. Do I need to buy a new one?

    I've had my BenQ G2020HD for 6 years now as well. That's 6 years of flawless performance with no issues at all. If it still works like a charm for ya I see no reason to replace it.

    Not unless you want an upgrade.

    I still have an early XP-era monitor that racked up well over 15k hours and its still kicking. (the settings had a counter)
