Verification Code for Phone restore
I recently downloaded the latest version of Win 10 mobile to my backup (Lumia 635) device for trial / testing.
After taking the update, I Hard Reset the device, intending to restore from backup. After the Hard Reset, while restoring the backup, you're asked for a method of receiving the Verification Code (2 factor authentication) which requires you to enter either the last 4 of your phone number, or the front of your email address (before the @).
It only allows 2 chars for last 4 of phone number, all but last 2 chars of email prefix (probably a code flaw, or ...)
Has anyone else run into this, or does anyone have a workaround?
I've searched without finding anything.
BTW - I sent feedback to Windows Insider.
