So, I bought a Microsoft 640 a few months back and the first thing I noticed was the screens responsiveness wasn't good. I assume this was due to the fact it is a low end phone, but with the limited choices at the time on Windows Phones I went for it... I liked the Wi-Fi calling :)

After using it for a while I got uses to the screen and the on-screen buttons(for the most part). Sunday I dropped it and broke the screen, so I went back to the HTC 8x. Wow, the touch was WAY better on the HTC 8x than the 640.

I guess my question is to the users of premium Lumia devices. Is the screen on the 640 this bad just because of the fact it is budget or is this a normal issue on these phones?

Wtf, it's not responsive enough for you? Well, i switched from Asha 300 and for me 640's screen is more than sensitive and responsive, maybe you have a malfunctioning device or something.

I had a Lumia 1520. The screen was very responsive. I broke it and decided to replace it with a 640 as I didn't want to spend the money on an aging phone. The screen on the 640 is nowhere near as responsive as the 1520, however, the 1520 is a lot more money.

I didn't have a 640, but I've compared the 920, 520, 635, 830.

I didn't really notice much of a difference between the devices, except the 830 was ever so slightly more quirky. But it hasn't posed any irritation.
